Wednesday night in Barueri, Brazil, Demian Maia will look to extend his current winning streak to four with a victory over former title challenger Jake Shields, as the duo headlines the latest UFC Fight Night event on Fox Sports 1.

Though focused on the task at hand, the talented submission specialist has his sights set on a bigger prize should he emerge with a fourth consecutive victory.

Speaking for Fox Sports’ Heidi Androl following Tuesday’s UFC Fight Night: Maia vs. Shields weigh-ins, the 18-4 welterweight contender, who came in on weight at 171 pounds, explained why he’s been able to find success since switching divisions, his preparations for Wednesday night’s main event match-up with Shields, and what he wants next should he emerge victorious.

FoxSports.com will have round-by-round coverage of tomorrow’s UFC Fight Night: Maia vs. Shields event beginning with the opening bout of the card at 4:30 PM ET.
