Young, hungry, dynamic middleweights will pair off when Brad
Tavares meets Lorenz Larkin at the UFC Fight Night scheduled for
Jan. 15 in Duluth, Georgia.
The fight was confirmed by the UFC on Friday.
Given their respective fight styles, the bout should be ripe

McDaniel, Riki Fukuda, Tom Watson and Dongi Yang.
The 25-year-old Hawaiian could be within a win or two of
cracking the division’s top 10.
Larkin has only a single career loss, in a wrestling-heavy fight
to current No. 8 Francis Carmont. In his last bout, he earned a
strong unanimous decision victory over Chris Camozzi at the recent
UFC Fight for the Troops 3 event.
Larkin’s career mark is 14-1 with 1 no contest, and he
holds a notable win over surging welterweight Robbie Lawler. Eight
of his wins have come by knockout.
The matchup will take place as part of the fast-forming UFC
Fight Night event headlined by fellow middleweights Luke Rockhold
and Costa Philippou. The action takes place at the Arena at the
