Kennedy reenacts 'Anchorman' scene
Was Bill Murray’s military jaunt “Stripes” a documentary? Because this Army man is funny.
Actually, Special Forces Operator and UFC middleweight Tim Kennedy is twice as funny - especially, the stuff in Russia - and 1,000,000x as deadly. In the effort to win the war for best fighter related Youtube channel, the mix of former and current American soldiers who run Ranger Up have allied themselves, yet again, with the 16-4 Kennedy to spoof the scene in “Anchorman” where they Ron Burgundy et al sing “Afternoon Delight”.
Coming off a successful Octagon debut at UFC 164 against Roger Gracie, Kennedy is targeted to tangle with another Brazilian jiu-jitsu blackbelt Rafael “Sapo” Natal in the main event at UFC Fight for the Troops on November 6th. At Fort Campbell in Kentucky, Kennedy will look to use his grinding style inside the cage toward a big win in front of the biased U.S. Army crowd. Outside of the Octagon, Kennedy unwinds as a prolific Twitter-er and, as seen, a Youtube actor.
Fake mustache, sports coat, and a surprisingly melodic karaoke cover of the Starland Vocal Band. It’s not the first and, hopefully, not the last envoy into free musical theater by Kennedy and the Ranger Up crew as they made a beat-by-beat remake of Katy Perry’s “Part of Me”. If you don’t laugh watching a Green Beret sniper wrapping his pecs while lip-syncing pop garbage or chuckle along with a cagefighter harmonizing with his bros on “sky rockets in flight” then you don’t have a sense of humor. That’s the fact, Jack.
