Following a week off to recover from International Fight week, the Great MMA Debate is back with a big show previewing two UFC Fight Night cards as well as chatting with main event fighter Jim Miller and his coach/manager Mike Constantino.
Miller will discuss his bout with Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and the stakes for this fight. Miller has been awfully close to a title shot on a number of occasions, but hasn’t quite reached the level where he’s been able to battle for the gold.
Is this a do or die fight for Miller if he ever plans on fighting for the lightweight title in the UFC?
"Obviously I want the title, I want to be world champion, but really my goal from the get go has been just to beat the tar out of everybody that steps in front of me," Miller said.
He’ll get his chance facing a very tough opponent in Cerrone this weekend.
We will also debate this very topic on the show asking whether or not Cerrone or Miller will ever fight for the UFC title? Plus we discuss the fallout from the cancellation of UFC 176 — is this a sign that the UFC is doing too many shows or just a matter of bad timing?
All this and more on the latest Great MMA Debate podcast.
