Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez get in heated face off ahead of UFC 205

Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez didn't disappoint as the two fighters came face-to-face for the first time since their main event bout for UFC 205 was announced Monday night.

McGregor will move to 155 pounds for the first time in his UFC career as he looks to take home a second world title while still holding onto the featherweight gold as well.

McGregor will look to make history when he faces Alvarez at Madison Square Garden on Nov. 12 and he was in rare form during the pre-fight press conference on Tuesday.

Time and time again, McGregor taunted Alvarez about everything from the money he's making for their fight to his prediction that the fight will be over inside one round.

After all the talk was done, McGregor and Alvarez charged forward for the customary stare down as UFC president Dana White stood in between the two fighters to keep them separated.

Finally the two fighters were separated before being handed their titles and Alvarez immediately started poking fun at McGregor's featherweight belt.

"Give him that little boy belt!" Alvarez shouted. "Get that little boy belt!"

Of course, Alvarez may not have noticed that McGregor was actually slightly taller than him when they squared off for the first time.

There will be plenty of time for more to be said between now and Nov. 12 as McGregor and Alvarez headline the historic card in New York.
