More Mayhem: Another arrest for Miller
For the third time in a month, Jason “Mayhem” Miller has been arrested in Orange County, California. The latest incident took place on Monday, when Miller was taken into custody and later released on bond, according to county public records.
Miller was booked on a contempt of court charge for an alleged violation of a “stay away” order, MMA Fighting reported.
According to the website, Miller was remanded to a local jail on Tuesday on California Penal Code 166(c)(1), which covers willful and knowing protective order violations. According to the statute, the charge is punishable by imprisonment of not more than one year in county jail, a fine of not more than $1,000, or both. His next hearing is scheduled for Oct. 10.

Miller retired in 2012 with a record of 28-9 with one no contest. The 32-year-old lost both of his UFC bouts in his most recent stint, losing to TKO to Michael Bisping and by decision to C.B. Dollaway.
A prolific social media user, Miller tweeted in the early hours of Tuesday that he would be leaving behind the mass marketing tools that helped him build his popular persona.
“So, I quit all social media now,” he wrote to his over 222,000 followers. “Digital detox. Good luck on your journey.”
