UFC 174 Embedded: Before and after 2-hour meeting with Jon Jones
It was months in the making but a two hour meeting is what finally got UFC light heavyweight champion Jon 'Bones' Jones and executives from the promotion on the same page to put together the upcoming Sept. 27 fight against Alexander Gustafsson.
There had been some crazy back and forth between the two parties prior to the meeting taking place, but over the course of the gathering that was attended by Jones, UFC president Dana White, UFC owner Lorenzo Fertitta and Jones' manager Malki Kawa, they were able to hammer out the details and get the fight done.
Following that meeting, UFC Embedded follows White ona journey to Bangor, Maine with his kids where he enjoys some family downtime away from the busy streets in Las Vegas.
White even finds time to buy a smart car while he's in Maine, although in a disappointing turn of events we don't get to see him toiling around town in his new tiny automobile.
The new Embedded series also goes behind the scenes with Tyron Woodley as he prepares to travel to Vancouver for his co-main event fight, and the agenda on Sunday before leaving is a family trip to church. Meanwhile in Montreal, Rory MacDonald goes over his nutrition and diet as he gets ready to go home for the bout at UFC 174.
