Harlem Globetrotters invite Sage Northcutt to a game, despite terrible jump shot

It looks like UFC fan favorite Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone isn’t the only person trying to teach Sage Northcutt a thing or two.

After suffering his first professional loss last weekend at UFC Fight Night: Johnson vs. Bader, Northcutt received an outpouring of support, including Cerrone inviting him out to the ranch to learn "how to fight and how to live." The 19-year-old posted this video the day after his loss, telling fans he’ll be back better than ever, while spinning a basketball on his finger and riding a hoverboard before shooting a brick off the front of the rim.

The video got the attention of none other than the original, world-famous Harlem Globetrotters, who invited the phenom out to a game despite his terrible jumper.

Northcutt is still smiling after his loss, and we’re hoping the support he’s receieved will motivate him to work that much harder in the gym.
