Reebok has been involved with the UFC for just more than a year now, after signing a landmark outfit deal to become the exclusive apparel company for the world’s biggest mixed martial arts organization.
There have been a few bumps and bruises along the way but it looks like Reebok is serious about knowing what it’s like for the fighters who compete inside the Octagon.
Well at least one executive from the company found out how it feels to get kicked by a UFC fighter, anyways.
Kevin Brochu, who is the senior sports marketing manager working with the UFC, recently lost a bet with FOX Sports reporter Ariel Helwani, and the price wasn’t slipping him some cash or being forced to wear a New York Knicks jersey.
Instead, Brochu had to take a leg kick from former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman — and that has got to hurt. Watch Weidman deliver the kick below courtesy of the former champion’s Instagram account.

From the look of things, Weidman didn’t hold back as he slammed his shin into Brochu’s thigh and there’s a better than average chance that the exec was limping the next day as he walked into the Reebok offices.
Here’s a lesson kids: gambling can be bad for your health — especially if the bet involves getting kicked by one of the best fighters in the world.
