Good news, fellas: Arianny Celeste isn't engaged anymore -- she's single
This time of year, hope springs eternal. Unless you're a fan of the New York Mets. Then it just means despair.
But there is reason to be happy these days if you're a hot-blooded male: Arianny Celeste is back on the market.
The UFC Octagon girl got engaged in late November, at least that was the speculation from the likes of TMZ, Terez Owens and this very blog. Celeste confirmed as much Monday on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani. But -- and this is a significant but -- her engagement has ended.
Gentlemen, Arianny is single. And just in time for pool party season in Las Vegas. Better hit the gym.
"That happened, but it's not happening anymore," Celeste told Helwani. "It was just a very weird thing that happened, but it's over now. I didn't get married. I made a huge mistake and that's over with. I'm in a much better place."
Rumor was that Celeste had accepted the proposal of her longtime boyfriend Chandra Praveen, better known as the guy she allegedly kicked in the face during an infamous domestic dispute in Vegas back in 2012. Why did people think she was engaged? Maybe it was the huge rock on her finger in pics late last year.
It seems like that's done with now. Celeste turns 29 this year, her eighth as an Octagon girl. Incredible to think she started her gig when she was just 21.
The newly single Celeste is also hosting the Velocity show "Overhaulin.'" We're not sure if we even get that channel, but there are worse ways to spend a half hour than checking out Arianny.
Especially considering that's the closest 99 percent of dudes are going to get to her regardless of her being engaged or not.
