Robredo looking good in Sweden again

BASTAD, Sweden (AP)

Two-time champion Tommy Robredo of Spain defeated eighth-seeded Adrian Ungur of Romania in the first round of the Swedish Open on Monday.

As Andy Murray sobs during his speech after the Wimbledon final, the crowd showers him with applause. Yardbarker has the video.

Robredo, a winner here in 2006 and 2008 who was given a wildcard to play in his 12th consecutive edition of the tournament, beat Ungur 6-4, 6-2.

Later on the clay courts of the Bastad Tennis Stadium, home favorite Christian Lindell was knocked out by Jurgen Zopp of Estonia, who cruised to a 6-2, 6-2 win, and Jan Hajek of the Czech Republic beat Federico Delbonis of Argentina 7-6 (3), 6-3.
