TV cameras alter angles for Kvitova
Local broadcaster Channel Seven has had to alter its camera angles to avoid revealing too much of Czech sensation Petra Kvitova at the Australian Open, the Herald Sun reported Tuesday.
Kvitova has such a plunging neckline on her tennis dress that there is a threat of a serious wardrobe malfunction every time she serves. The cameras have been shooting her serving from a higher angle to preserve her modesty.
The 20-year-old overcame an attack of nerves to seal her place in the Australian Open quarter-finals Monday, fighting back from a set down to beat Flavia Pennetta 3-6 6-3 6-3.
The 25th seed will meet Russian world No. 2 Vera Zvonareva Wednesday for a shot at a second grand slam semi-final, having reached the final four at last year's Wimbledon.
