Titans take Britt off PUP, is discipline next?

The news release also said that Britt, whose season was ended early last season because of a knee injury, would not play in the team’s final preseason game on Thursday against the New Orleans Saints at LP Field.
In July, Britt was arrested for the eighth time since he arrived in the NFL in 2009. Earlier in August, he met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and could be facing some kind of suspension under the league’s personal conduct policy. He was arrested twice during the NFL lockout, but Goodell elected not to take any disciplinary measures last year against Britt, owing to the fact that the league was shut down. Britt might not be so lucky this time around.
Subsequent to his surgery last year, he underwent minor procedures on both knees and he has mostly been limited to rehab sessions on the sidelines and after practices with the team’s training staff.
After meeting with Goodell in New York several weeks ago, Britt missed a rehab session, for which he was fined nearly $10,000 by the team. He took a photo of the fine and posted it on his Instagram page.
The Titans drafted wide receiver Kendall Wright out of Baylor in April in the first round and Nate Washington and Damian Williams each had breakout performances last season after Britt went out.
As a result, Britt is thought to be on a short leash with the Titans.
