FOX Sports Enters Second Year of Two-Year Commitment with Both Charities; Pledges Support to Additional Year-Long Initiatives
Los Angeles – FOX Sports Supports, the charitable branch of FOX Sports, along with 21st Century Fox businesses and FOX Vets, is proud to continue its longtime support of the U.S. Military this Veterans Day. In recognition of all FOX employees who have and continue to serve as armed servicemen and women, a memorial plaque has been created to become a permanent fixture on the FOX Studios lot and will be unveiled Friday morning, Nov. 11.
Los Angeles – FOX Sports Supports, the charitable branch of FOX Sports, proudly announces its 2016 initiatives, including its continued support of our U.S. military, along with two-year partnerships with National Alliance on Mental Illness and Positive Coaching Alliance, extending through the 2017 calendar year. During this time, FOX Sports focuses its charitable resources toward these two organizations in campaigns that span all FOX Sports assets and premier events, beginning with the NFL playoffs this weekend and including coverage of next season’s Super Bowl LI. The two organizations were selected by a vote of FOX Sports employees in December 2015.

The American Heart Association’s 29th annual Paul “Bear” Bryant Awards presented by Marathon Oil Corporation, announced that Jimmy Johnson, one of the most respected and accomplished football coaches in NCAA and NFL history, will be named the recipient of the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was presented to Johnson at the event on Jan. 14 in Houston.
