Video: Man arrested, accused of driving passenger car onto track during race

A 21-year-old resident of Tonbridge, England has been arrested after allegedly driving his friend’s Polo onto the circuit during a Fun Cup race last weekend.

According to the Kent Police website, the driver was arrested on Monday, June 16 on suspicion of false imprisonment and currently remains in police custody.

Audi Wins 13th Title At 24 Hours Of Le Mans

Marcel Fassler, Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer overcame turbocharger problems to drive Audi to its 13th title at the 24 Hours of Le Mans on Sunday.

It was the trio’s third victory in the world’s most famous endurance race. Their Audi No. 2 finished three laps ahead of Audi No. 1 driven by Lucas di Grassi, Marc Gene and defending champion Tom Kristensen.

Audi has now won 10 of the last 11 races at Le Mans, including the last five.

Yet the former racing driver has recently taken a step back from motor racing, spending a lot of his time at the track entertaining the masses with his commentary. For this year’s running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, however, he’ll find himself in quite a different role yet again, behind the wheel of the pace car as he leads the field down to the green.

Felipe Massa and have been checked and released from a hospital in Montreal after the two were involved in a heavy crash at the end of Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix.

While battling for fourth place, Massa clipped the right-rear wheel of Perez’s Force India which caused both drivers to veer off track. They were carrying a high rate of speed at the time of the collision and were unable to slow before slamming viciously into the barriers in Turn 1.
