Series Statistical Report
Built Ford Tough
Miller Motorsports Park – Tooele, Utah – August 17

Hosted by Tooele’s state-of-the-art Miller Motorsports Park, the Built Ford Tough Utah National will be the first professional outdoor motocross event to be held in the state of Utah since 1973.

Since opening in 2006, Miller Motorsports Park has ascended into a premier road racing facility while continually expanding to include additional amenities for other various forms of motorsports.

The inaugural Utah National will take place on a brand-new, state-of-the-art motocross track constructed in the northeast corner of Miller Motorsports Park’s East Road Course.

The new, 1.1-mile track, designed by renowned motocross track architect Marc Peters, was constructed over the winter of 2012-2013. The course includes a unique uphill start, two huge triple step-up jumps that launch the riders high into the air, some tricky off-camber turns and other very large jumps.

With nearly mile-high elevation, the thin air in Utah’s Tooele Valley will present an additional challenge to racers and teams, similar to what they experienced in Lakewood, Colo. earlier this season.

Eight riders-across the 250 and 450 Class-will attempt to qualify in their native state of Utah for the first time in their Lucas Oil Pro Motocross careers.

A total of 13 different countries will be represented through the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at Round 11.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto could potentially clinch the 450 Class Championship on Saturday.

Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey will attempt to keep his title hopes alive as he sits 44 points behind.

GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac heads into the penultimate round with a six-moto winning streak and the 250 Class points lead.

At Unadilla, GEICO Honda’s Wil Hahn secured the Motorcycle-Superstore.com Holeshot Championship in the 250 Class, earning the end-of-season bonus of $15,000 courtesy of Motorcycle-Superstore.com.
