Two familiar faces will return to the 450cc gate at this Saturday, both riding Hondas, and both having been sidelined from the Monster Energy Series for several weeks due to injuries.

GEICO Motorcycle rider Eli Tomac has missed the last three events due to a shoulder injury, while factory Honda rider has been out for the first 12 rounds after breaking his arm while practicing last Thanksgiving.

Monster Energy Kawasaki formally announced today that rookie Adam Cianciarulo will miss the remainder of the 2014 Monster Energy season for the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki 250SX East Region effort. Cianciarulo will undergo surgery to repair his left shoulder, which was injured this past weekend in .

Cianciarulo entered his first season of Monster Energy Supercross as a rider to watch thanks to one of the most successful amateur motocross careers in history. Cianciarulo made his pro debut last summer in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, but a brutal bout with salmonella poisoning put him behind the eight ball from the get go and ultimately prevented him from showing his true potential.

James Stewart came from behind to win Saturday night’s Monster Energy race at the Rogers Centre in , Canada.

The Yoshimura Suzuki ace passed 14 riders in the 20-lap main event and beat by 3.2 seconds to pick up his 49th career victory – moving him past Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time wins list. Stewart now trails all-time leader Jeremy McGrath by 23.

GEICO Honda’s Justin Bogle led from start to finish Saturday night in Toronto to earn his first career Monster Energy 250SX Class victory.

Bogle, who scored a career-best second-place finish last weekend in , Mich., one-upped himself this time around with a dominant performance in front of 48,892 fans inside the Rogers Centre. Bogle’s triumph snaps a seven-race win streak put forth by the Pro Circuit Kawasaki squad – dating back to Dean Wilson’s 250SX Class Western Regional victory at Anaheim 3.

SX: 450 Class Power Rankings After Detroit

made his return to the top step of the podium in Detroit with a vintage ride in which he led 19 of 20 laps and tied Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time wins list at 48. Unfortunately for Stewart and the rest of the 450SX Class field, Ryan Villopoto had a strong night as well in second and continues to sit atop the Power Rankings this week.
