Following three sessions of practice this afternoon and early evening in Oakland, the final times are set for gate picks this evening. The whoops inside O.co Coliseum seem to be garnering the most attention, as they are both deep and big. Many riders have already stated the whoops could very well be where the race is won and lost. There’s also a tricky rhythm section that has claimed a few riders today, including Cooper Webb who received medical attention but should be ok to race this evening. Despite the difficult track, many riders have also commented that Oakland has the best dirt of the season thus far.

Chad Reed’s first victory in almost exactly two years was long awaited and some weren’t sure if he’d ever get there again. However, Reed proved the doubters wrong with a vintage Reed performance that has become one of the most popular wins in a long time.

Each week, The Power Rankings will recognize the movers and shakers in Monster Energy Supercross. Rookie Ken Roczen returns to the top of the rankings this week thanks to his return to the podium that also helped him reclaim the red plate as the series points leader.

Each week, The Power Rankings will recognize the movers and shakers in Monster Energy Supercross. Despite Seely’s breakthrough, Anderson still paces this week’s Power Rankings, even with his misfortune.
