Felix Baumgartner, renown for his 22-mile jump from the stratosphere in October 2012, will be behind the wheel of an Audi R8 LMS ultra in the 24 Hours this June.

Sharing the ride with Frank Biela, Marco Werner and Pierre Kaffer, Baumgartner will help the team compete at the demanding German circuit affectionately referred to as “The Green Hell.”

The is an annual endurance race designed to appeal to amateur and professional racecar drivers. It will run from June 21-22 this year. Baumgartner will attend a press conference Thursday in which more details about his latest endeavor will be released.
