The “unbelievable” Marc Marquez is the man Honda could not say no to. Simple as that.
Confirmation that Marquez has agreed a two year contract extension, until the end of 2016, with the Honda Racing Corporation comes as no surprise.
For the second straight year, Patrick Dempsey, Joe Foster and Patrick Long will be behind the wheel of the No. 77 Dempsey Racing-Proton Porsche 911 RSR in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The all-American trio led the GTE-AM class in the 2013, and came close to finishing on the class podium, crossing the line in fourth place.

Tuesday morning, Mario Andretti gave 102-year-old Edith Pittenger a ride around the 105-year-old Indianapolis Motor Speedway in a two-seat Indy car ride.
Rain meant that F1 testing action got off to a slow start in Barcelona today, and once the track had dried out in the afternoon there was a surprise as Max Chilton set the fastest time of the day for Marussia.
The Briton was trying the supersoft tire – which will be used in Monaco – in qualifying trim, while rivals had very different objectives. Nevertheless it was a nice confidence boost for a team that has outpaced rivals Caterham recently.
