Formula E: Chandhok and Senna sign for Mahindra racing

Karun Chandhok and Bruno Senna are the fifth and sixth drivers to have confirmed rides for the inaugural Formula E season.

The drivers signed for Mahindra racing, the only Indian team in Formula E, on Monday.

Lewis Hamilton was forced to give up his chase of Nico Rosberg in Monaco after getting some debris in his eye.

In the closing laps, he lost some nine second to his teammate and came under threat from Daniel Ricciardo. Until then, he had been pushing Rosberg hard.

Daniel Ricciardo impressed once again with a superb third place in Monaco, on a day when teammate Sebastian Vettel was an early retirement.

The Australian caught Lewis Hamilton in the closing laps, and chased him across the line. He’s now finished fourth, fourth, third and third in the past four races.

Jules Bianchi earned the Marussia team its first-ever points with a superb ninth place in the Monaco GP – in the team’s fifth season.

Bianchi actually finished eighth on the road, but he had a five second penalty added to his race time, which dropped him behind Romain Grosjean.
