Ricciardo all smiles as he secures a popular first win
Daniel Ricciardo scored a hugely popular maiden GP victory in Canada, and while it took a little bad luck for Mercedes to make it happen, the Aussie had to be there to take advantage.
While much of the attention in this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans may be on the new-for-2014 LMP1 regulations and the three-way battle for the overall win between Audi, Toyota and Porsche, the production-based ranks is still expected to produce competitive battles, with an equally diverse grid.

Mugello had it all: Rossi’s 300th Grand Prix, rain on Friday and one of the best on-track fights in living memory thanks to Marc Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo. This time out, they’re in Barcelona and fighting for glory on home turf.
Marquez and Lorenzo spent the second half of the Italian Grand Prix trading places on various occasions and at corners where one would not have expected a pass to take place. However, it was the same man coming out on top as Marquez made it to 150 points: maximum score for the first third of the season.

It was curated over the years by the late Jacques Littlefield, who housed the collection at his Military Vehicle Technology Foundation in Portola Valley.
