Ecclestone Still Believes In New Jersey

still believes that the New Jersey event could find a place on the 2014 F1 calendar, despite having told a journalist last week that the race may not happen due to lack of funds.

Although the matter is complicated by plans for an event in Mexico City gaining momentum, crowding the calendar still further.

A 2014 F1 schedule is expected to emerge either at or just before the World Motor Sport Council gathering on September 27, and Bernie confirmed that is “more or less” the cut-off point for New Jersey.
