Riders have commented that this is the most difficult track of the season. The dirt has deteriorated quite a bit, resulting in a lot of ruts, some extremely deep. The whoops have become a focal point because how much they’ve rutted up and many riders have fell while trying to navigate them. Attrition has been higher than usual, but fortunately everyone has been able to get back on the bike and continue.
Ryan Dungey made the first statement in the premier class by topping the charts in the first session but James Stewart edged him out in the final session with a 54.047 compared to Dungey’s 54.234.
