Every rider in the East Region is wishing they were on a Pro Circuit Kawasaki as the team moved to 3-0 to start the season and extended its 250SX winning streak to five races. Rookie superstar Adam Cianciarulo continues to exceed expectations, while Martin Davalos continues to receive terrible luck. There’s very little separating these two at the top, but with two wins to his credit, AC’s got the edge.

The first day of MotoGP testing at Qatar saw Aleix Espargaro leading the way with an 1:55.386 best time towards the end of the evening at the desert circuit.

Just under two weeks before the season opening Commercial Bank Grand Prix of Qatar commences this test sees 17 premier class riders making their final preparations for the forthcoming campaign, in the absence of the Ducati Team, Movistar Yamaha MotoGP and Repsol Honda outfits.

F1: Pirelli Outlines Tire Test Schedule For Teams

Pirelli has confirmed the tire testing schedule for the three in-season tests. The rules require each team to devote one of its six precious days to working for the Italian company.

The significance of the timing is that in theory when a team is tire testing, it is not working on developing its car.

Who would have thought that the track conditions inside a domed stadium would be more difficult than one outside? Well, so far in three visits to domed stadiums the riders of Monster Energy Supercross have had to compete on arguably the three most difficult tracks of the season. Last weekend in Indy proved to the one of the toughest tests of many riders’ career and fittingly enough, the race produced wild moments and a shakeup in the championship.

Each week, The Holeshot will provide 22 takeaways – a full starting gate – from the most recent round of action.

IndyCar: New Indy 500 Qualifying Format Revealed

The new qualifying format for the Indianapolis 500 will include three rounds over two days, with the pole-winner emerging from a “Fast Nine Shootout” on what used to be Bump Day.

IndyCar officials also said Friday there will be points incentives that have yet to be announced.

Qualifying for the Indy 500 this year will begin on May 17 when the fastest 33 cars are locked into the field. All entries will be guaranteed at least one four-lap attempt to qualify, and the fastest nine drivers will move into the shootout.
