Texas looms large in the pickup truck universe, and the domestic big-truck makers each have their own homage to Texas and its history, such as the Ford F-Series King Ranch. Chevy Silverado buyers in the Lone Star State can even get a special Texas Edition package.

Now Toyota, eager to move up in the big leagues of big trucks, has its own top-drawer Tundra model that honors a piece of Texas: the 1794 Edition. Loads of leather, a plethora of features and a mighty dose of Western flair, plus “1794” badging everywhere you look.

The 2014 Formula 1 season is now two races old, and we are beginning to get a taste of which teams have performance and which still have some work to do.

Nico Rosberg remains the points leader heading into Bahrain, while Ferrari and Red Bull still have a lot of catching up to do to match Mercedes. Meanwhile, RBR driver Daniel Ricciardo just needs a bit of luck.

McLaren racing director Eric Boullier says that the team hopes to be in a strong position in Monaco and Montreal, even if it is still struggling with a lack of downforce.

He accepts that the next three races, which feature a lot of high speed corners and put a premium on aero efficiency, are going to be tough.

Will Power picked up right where he left off last season, in Victory Lane, for the fourth time in the last six IndyCar Series races.

Power won the IndyCar Series season-opening race Sunday through the streets of St. Petersburg with a dominating run. He passed pole-sitter Takuma Sato for the lead with an outside move headed into the second turn on Lap 31, and the Australian was never really challenged again.

Lewis Hamilton put the massive disappointment of his early retirement in Australia behind him with a faultless performance in Malaysia, heading home Nico Rosberg in a Mercedes one-two in the home country of the team’s main sponsor Petronas.

It was also Hamilton’s first ever victory at Sepang.
