Ford join IMSA as Official Automotive Partner

Leading the field to the green at this weekend’s TUDOR race at Long Beach will be the new EcoBoost-Powered Ford Taurus SHO.

This new pace car signifies the beginning of a three-year agreement between Ford and the IMSA, with Ford now being the “Official Automotive Partner” of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge.

Christian Horner says he was happy to bag a fourth and sixth place in Bahrain, a track that did not favor Red Bull.

Daniel Ricciardo did a particularly impressive job to move up from 13th place as both drivers were able to run quickly in the final stint, on the soft tires.

Round two of the 2014 MotoGP season will take place on home soil for American riders Nicky Hayden and Colin Edwards this weekend in Austin.

The Grand Prix of the Americas will be the first of two visits to the United States for the MotoGP series this season, the second being in August at Indianapolis.

Report: Schumacher responding to voices and making eye contact

Last week, Michael Schumacher’s manager, Sabine Kehm, informed the media that the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion was showing “moments of consciousness and awakening.”

Now, three months after his skiing accident in the Alps, media reports are coming through that Schumacher is responding to voices and making eye contact with others at the French Grenble University Hospital.
