It’s the third and final day of the 12th annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Collector Car Auction and so far, the event has been a huge success with a great docket of more than 550 , millions raised for charity and massive crowds.

Today, the focus is on the fun, the funky and the affordable collector cars, the kinds of rides that are perfect for weekend jaunts rather than some of the uber-high-dollar cars that end up as museum pieces.

With that in mind, here are Sunday’s Five To Watch cars from Palm Beach:

A wonderful, period-correct cruiser, this 1954 Oldsmobile Holiday 88 Custom roadster evokes the legendary customizer Gene Winfield. This Olds is chopped, channeled, shaved, decked, frenched and about everything else you can do.

The dark clouds looming over the Circuits of The Americas today may look like a small ray of hope for the bulk of the field, at least compared to the prospect of Marc Marquez riding off into the sunset.

Marquez has been in imperious form this weekend at the circuit he scored his first-ever MotoGP victory one year ago. Repsol Honda teammate may still hold realistic hopes of overcoming Marquez, but the rest of the top men have lowered their sights with a podium result considered about the best they can hope for… unless something unusual happens.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto crushed the competition Saturday night in Seattle, Wash., winning by a margin of 12.14 seconds in front of a hometown crowd of 53,927 fans.

Villopoto’s night started out rocky when he was forced to transfer out of the second 450SX semi-final race, but it only went uphill from there. The Seattle-area native nailed the holeshot in the main event and then led all 20 laps to claim his fifth Monster Energy Supercross victory of 2014.

SX: Seattle Storylines – Villopoto Looks To Wrap Up Fourth Title

Practice has wrapped up inside CenturyLink Field, home of the Super Bowl Champion Seahawks. Weather has been uncharacteristically stellar in the days leading up to the race and continues to be great today, making for one of the driest tracks in recent memory. As a result, the track is breaking down with deep ruts and a rocky surface. When combined with its technicality it has the makings for an unpredictable night of action.

Ryan Villopoto has a fourth consecutive title within reach entering his home race and needs just five points over and to clinch the championship in Seattle. However, Villopoto has just one 450SX Class win in four attempts at Seattle (he missed 2010 due to injury), which makes for the most intriguing storyline of the evening.
