At the WDW 2014 event being held at Misano World Circuit this weekend, Andrea Dovizioso and Ducati announced that they will continue together for 2015 and 2016.
During a press conference at the Italian circuit, Dovizioso and Ducati Motor Holding Director Claudio Domenicali gave the details of the rider’s new two-year agreement with the Borgo Panigale factory.
Domenicali commented, “Andrea has been with us for two years now and has shown his belief in this project. After a difficult 2013 he has given us two podiums this year. He is our best rider. It’s a great honor for me to announce that he has decided to continue with us for two more years.”
Dovizioso added, “We’ve reached an agreement and this is because it’s an interesting project which is beginning to bear fruit with the arrival of (Luigi) Dall’Igna. We’ve had two podiums already this season and we are fourth in the (MotoGP) World Championship. The current situation is really exciting, especially with the plans for 2015 in mind.”Andrea Dovizioso, Ducati, MotoGP
