Schumacher reportedly moved from ICU to rehabilitation unit

It has been almost six months since Michael Schumacher’s tragic skiing accident that has put him in a coma from which he has yet to awake.

Though no news has officially been released, the German weekly newsmagazine Bunte recently reported that the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion has been moved to a special rehabilitation unit in the Grenoble hospital.

Ferrari drivers and staff have gathered to send a message of hope to Michael Schumacher and commemorate his first Ferrari Formula One victory at the Spanish Grand Prix with the team he led to five world championships.

Drivers and Kimi Raikkonen flanked new team principal Marco Mattiacci among about a hundred team members in front of a sign saying “Remembering your first win with us (hash)forzamichael.”

Coming unto the fifth round of 2014 season at Barcelona, one has to wonder if Alonso can pull off the same sort of victory as he did at this circuit one year ago.

Michael Schumacher’s manager has denied reports she told German television that the F1 legend had finally emerged from his long coma.

Late last week, multiple media sources claimed the former and Mercedes driver’s manager, Sabine Kehm, had told the RTL broadcaster that Schumacher had woken up after 17 weeks in a coma and ‘recognised his wife’ Corinna.
