McLaren racing director remains confident that the team will make progress as upgrades are introduced over the next few races.

The team ended its streak of failing to score in Monaco after three frustrating weekends.

Kevin Magnussen has endured a difficult time since his spectacular debut in Australia, but the McLaren driver insists that it’s all part of the inevitable learning curve.

Magnussen finished a lowly 13th last time out in China.

No current plans for more Honda-powered F1 cars

Honda F1 boss Yasuhisa Arai was non-committal today when asked about plans to extend F1 engine supply beyond McLaren.

McLaren will initially have exclusive use of the new power unit when the Japanese manufacturer returns to the sport next season.
