1:45 p.m. ET – Pit lane is open!
1:35 p.m. ET – Look who we found – Chef Gordon Ramsay. Ramsay is an award winning British chef, restaurant owner and host of the reality television show “Hell’s Kitchen.”
1:30 p.m. ET – Fancy a look back at Red Bull Racing’s rendition of the National Anthem?
1:20 p.m. ET – Check out these cars, y’all. Texas knows how to do a drivers’ parade.
When you’re a four-time champ, you get to drive your own car during the drivers’ parade.
1:15 p.m. ET – Pre-race ceremonies are underway at Circuit of The Americas. Here’s a look at the University of Texas band playing on the frontstretch.
1:05 p.m. ET – Sergio Perez is pumped for today’s “home” race. Many fans traveled from Mexico to see him compete in the USGP. Checo will look to not only impress his fans, but also other teams as he searches for a 2014 ride.
1:00 p.m. ET – Right… we better pick up the pace. Just one hour until the lights out and the USGP gets underway. Tweet us what you want to see and we’ll track it down for you!
12:55 p.m. ET – Next up is the Red Bull Racing duo of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. Vettel will start from pole with Webber joining him on the front row.
The two drivers had quite a busy morning, starting with a massive signing session. Who says American F1 fans aren’t passionate?
The Aussie struggled with an identity crisis shortly after signing autographs, but we think he’s OK now and will be good to go for the race.
In all seriousness, good luck to Webber as he makes his penultimate start. In case you haven’t heard, Webber will be driving for Porsche in the sports car ranks next season.
12:45 p.m. ET – Alright, alright… enough of the girls. We know you really want to see the men of the hour. We’ll start with defending race winner Lewis Hamilton, who will be starting fifth in today’s race.
During the drivers’ parade, the 2008 World Champion will be escorted around the track in this stunning 1961 Chevrolet Corvette Custom. Not too shabby!
12:40 p.m. ET – Even the lovely Dallas Cowboys’ cheerleaders are on hand for today’s race.
12:30 p.m. ET – Of course we can’t forget about the beautiful grid cowgirls here in Austin, Texas. Race day wouldn’t be complete without them.
12:15 p.m. ET – The crowd is already gathering here in Turn 1. These fans get to see the cars rocket off the starting line and drag race up into Turn 1 – which is the second longest run from start line to first corner on the F1 calendar. Drivers will then shoot for the apex before heading downhill to the long right hand Turn 2 and the esses.
CJ Wilson, a professional baseball pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, is watching today’s race for T1.
