Williams has announced an improved financial performance in its 2013 annual results.

The group’s overall income increased from £105.8m ($178.3m) to £132.4m ($223.4m), with an EBIT of £12.0m ($20.3m), up from £5.1m ($8.6m). Within those figures, the income of the F1 division rose from to £86.4m ($145.8m) to £108.5m ($183.1).

Felipe Massa admits he’s been frustrated by the bad luck that has cost him a lot of points in the early races of the season.

In China he was wet set in sixth when there was a delay at his first pit stop after it was realized that the crew was trying to fit the left rear tire on the right, and vice versa.

Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo set the fastest time on a slippery track in the final practice session at the Chinese Grand Prix on Saturday as the other top drivers limited their running due to the wet weather.

Ricciardo completed his lap around the Shanghai International Circuit in 1 minute, 53.958 seconds, about 0.5 seconds faster than of in second. Lotus driver set the third-fastest time of the morning.

driver Felipe Massa is standing by his decision to ignore team orders to let teammate pass him in the closing stages of Sunday’s Malaysian Grand Prix, saying the team should recognize he has his own interests to pursue in the drivers’ championship.

Massa was repeatedly told to let Bottas past to enable the Finn to chase the McLaren of Jenson Button, but Massa refused to make way, and finished seventh and Bottas eighth, with Button holding on for sixth.
