The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible may look like it’s all about having fun in the sun, but it’s also an expert at crisis management.

No, not the corporate kind that GM is so familiar with these days, and not your mid-life crisis, either. It’s the one where you’re trying to decide whether to buy the convertible sports car you really want or the coupe version you know is going to be a better car.

Corvette museum likely to keep part of sinkhole as tourist attraction

A massive sinkhole that swallowed eight prized sports at the National Corvette Museum has become such a popular attraction that officials want to preserve it — and may even put one or two of the crumpled back inside the hole.

Stolen 1979 Corvette Recovered After 33 Years

It was only two years old when it was stolen, but after 33 years the police have found a Michigan man’s 1979 Chevrolet Corvette nearly 1,000 miles away.

The car’s 71-year-old owner, George Talley, got a call from AAA this past Friday telling him his ‘Vette was in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, WXYZ reports.

With a new car and renewed hopes, Richard Westbrook is upbeat about Corvette Racing’s chances in this weekend’s .

The GM factory driver, who joins Tommy Milner and Oliver Gavin at the wheel of the new Pratt & Miller-built No. 74 Corvette C7.R, is looking to rebound after a disappointing outing in 2013, which saw the previous-generation C6.R struggle against the FIA World Endurance Championship regulars in GTE-Pro.

Quadriplegic Schmidt hits 100 mph at Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS – During his Indianapolis 500 career as a driver, Sam Schmidt made three four-lap qualification attempts to make the starting lineup of the race from 1997-99. Schmidt’s best qualification effort came in 1999 when he started seventh in the 33-car starting lineup.

Yet Schmidt made his most impressive four-lap run Sunday morning, when he drove a specially prepared Corvette Stingray around the 2.5-mile oval.
