Red Bull can win this year’s championship and also be ready for the enormous challenge of the radical 2014 rules.

That is the claim of Dr Helmut Marko, as this year’s title-charging teams grapple with the even-more-delicate-than-usual task of balancing two parallel development tasks.

If you’ve dreamed of working for an F1 team your chance may have arrived, courtesy of Infiniti and Red Bull Racing.

They are jointly offering engineering graduates a chance to work at RBR via what they call “a new global talent search initiative.”

The Infiniti Performance Engineering Academy will see two winning candidates complete a 12-month assignment with RBR, working alongside Infiniti engineers, while also spending time at the company’s UK road car technical center.

Daniel Ricciardo has confirmed reports he would be a tight squeeze at the wheel of Red Bull’s 2014 Formula One car.

The Australian, the hot favorite to replace his countryman Mark Webber at the World Champion team, hit a snag this week when he had a seat-fitting in the cockpit of the 2014-spec RB10.
