The monster video board, the largest in college football, has been completed and will be ready to go for the home opener Sept. 6 vs. Lamar.
The LED video board is 47-feet high and 163 feet wide and was designed, manufactured and installed by Daktronics. The school tweeted a picture last night that the final panel for the board has been installed.
The massive video board fits in well in the state as Texas Motor Speedway unveiled the world's largest video screen earlier this year. And then there's the video screen at AT&T Stadium that draws as much attention as the Dallas Cowboys games.
A&M's board is part of a $450 million renovation at Kyle Field. It's expected to be completed before the 2015 season.
