San Antonio pizza joint creates giant work of art for Spurs

Big Lou's Pizza in San Antonio a very large reason to cheer Thursday, despite the Spurs' loss.

Is there any better way to watch the NBA Finals than with pizza and beer?

Actually, yes, there is. How about free pizza that just so happens to be one of the largest in the country, specially designed to celebrate your favorite team?

The Spurs may have lost Game 4 Thursday, but customers at Big Lou's Pizza in San Antonio had another reason to smile.

According to the restaurant's Facebook page, the enormous pizza was a special request by ESPN. The pizza appears to be made out of cheese, olives, pepperoni, ham and peppers and easily displays Coyote, the Spurs mascot, the Larry O'Brien Trophy and the Spurs' logo.

The San Antonio staple eatery is not shy when it comes to creating works of art of the edible variety. They created one for Texas A&M in celebration of their Cotton Bowl win earlier in the year. The restaurant has also been featured on the Travel Channel's 'Man vs. Food.'

The large pies are not available for purchase, but instead passed out among employees and dine-in customers.

Not a bad way to celebrate your team in the NBA Finals.
