With Darrelle Revis on the Buccaneers, Drew Brees has a simple plan for him, 'let's go away from him.'

Tampa Bay put a priority on beefing up its secondary. The answer: add Pro Bowl veteran talent in the form of safety Dashon Goldson and cornerback
Darrelle Revis, who's so good,
Drew Brees says the
Saints will use the "Revis Rule" this game.
What is that? Revis' spot on the field is nicknamed "Revis Island," because that's the place where opposing receivers get smothered, schooled, intercepted and beaten.
"There are times where you just know he defends this certain route or this certain concept or this play very well. So, all things equal, let's go away from him," Brees said. "We definitely say there is a 'Revis Rule' where you just want to avoid giving him opportunities as much as you can. Then again, we are going to execute our offense, and there are going to be times where we are going to his side, throwing at him, but it is what it is. We are going to be careful about it and smart about it."
Revis has defended 100 passes in his career and come up with 19 interceptions. Saints wide receiver Lance Moore is looking forward to the challenge.
"In order to be the best, you've got to compete against the best, and for a long time, he's been one of the best guys in the league," Moore said. "Obviously we know he's coming off of an ACL injury last year, but when you watch him on film, last week is the first game action he's had in over a year, and he still looks like Darrelle Revis. They kind of rotated guys in and out of there, but you can still tell that he's got that skill level and ability, and we're going to have to detail our work."
Saints safety Roman Harper admits he's looking forward to personally observing the man widely regarded as the league's number one corner in action.
"From what I've seen in the past, I know he's the best in the league," Harper said. "He's paid that way, he is that guy. I look forward to actually watching this guy and how he does against our receivers."
Bucs' fan base is fired up about Revis. On Thursday, Treasure Island, Fla. renamed itself "Revis Island, Fla." to welcome him and celebrate the Bucs' home opener.
