HOUSTON — A fan was injured Sunday when a panel from an LED sign at Reliant Stadium fell on him, according to reports.

The incident comes less than two weeks after a fan fell to his death while allegedly trying to slide down the handrailing of an escalator. That man, identified by authorities as 25-year-old Jonathan Kelly, fell three stories from the escalator Aug. 30 during a preseason game at Reliant Stadium.
Reliant Stadium, which is owned by Harris County, opened in 2002.
