Report: Spurs could target Garnett this summer

While it's a long shot, the Spurs could add Kevin Garnett to their roster this summer.

Are the Spurs looking to pair Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on the court at the same time next season?

According to a report in the San Antonio Express-News, they just might.

The paper, citing a source in the Spurs organization, reported that the team will look at all options this summer, including unrestricted free agent Kevin Garnett.

While it's a long shot to happen ( Tim Duncan, himself, is an unrestricted free agent and must be re-signed by San Antonio), it would make for a very interesting pairing on the court.

Garnett and Duncan are similar in size and age, not to mention they play the same position. But personality-wise, the two couldn't be bigger polar opposites.

As Harvey puts it, people in San Antonio refer to Garnett as "Duncan's evil twin."

But adding a player of championship caliber such as Garnett to the Spurs roster would do one thing for sure: Help them remain contenders in the Western Conference.
