Jay-Z found a nitch in the sports, so why can’t Lil Wayne?
Roc Nation Sports has some high-profile talent signed to them including Robinson Cano, Geno Smith, Victor Cruz and Kevin Durant.
Now, the competing record label has reportedly welcomed in their first client to the competing sports agency in the form of Texas A&M wide receive Mike Evans according to TMZ Sports.
Evans originally hired another firm to represent him, but apparently jumped ship from Priority Sports to join Cash Money. Though the report later updated that newly formed Cash Money Sports will be working closely with his former agency.
And of course, this wouldn’t be an Aggie story without a mention of Johnny Manziel. So how does the QB play into all of this?
Well, Manziel is a huge (and we mean huge) fan of Cash Money rapper Drake. Plus, Manziel and Evans are apparently really close as well. So, could this mean Manziel could sign the newly formed agency? Currently, Manziel is sign with Select Sports Group based in Houston.
