SURPRISE, Ariz. (AP) -- Ryan Vogelsong pitched four solid innings in the San Francisco Giants' 4-4 tie with the Texas Rangers on Thursday night.
Vogelsong, who was roughed up for seven runs on six hits and a walk in 2 1-3 innings against Seattle, limited the Rangers to one run and three hits over four innings.
Shin-Soo Choo, who entered the game 3 for 19 with one extra-base hit, homered off Vogelsong in the third. Kevin Kouzmanoff stroked a two-run single in the eighth to tie the score.
Andrew Susac, who was told before the game he would be assigned to minor league camp Friday, homered to lead off the Giants fourth and drove in another run with an infield single in the fifth.
Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre left after two at-bats with left quad tightness.
