The Rangers said Beltre would continue to be evaluated. He is scheduled to have a precautionary MRI but the results likely won't be known until Thursday.
Beltre appeared to hurt himself diving for a ball and making a spectacular play on a grounder off the bat of Russ Canzler in the second inning. He was replaced in the field by Mike Olt.
Television cameras caught Texas manager Ron Washington talking with Beltre in the dugout in the middle of the fourth inning.
Beltre hit his 31st homer of the season in the first inning and walked in the third. Beltre, who is hitting .318, has 13 home runs and 23 RBI in the last 20 games.
