NBA legend thinking of making a comeback?

He might be, after rumors surfaced about what the New Orleans Pelicans offered free-agent Tyreke Evans on Monday, at least according to his Twitter.
After the USA Today reported the Pelicans offered Evans a four-year, $44 million offer to the restricted free agent, Miller took to Twitter.
Pelicans reportedly offer Tyreke Evans 4yr $40-48 million, I need to get back in gym......— Reggie Miller (@ReggieMillerTNT) July 2, 2013
The 47-year-old is hardly looking at making a comeback, but he is probably coming to grips with the notion that he was born a decade or two too early.
One can only imagine what a player like Miller (and his numbers) playing in his prime would have drawn on the open market today.
Or he could have been like Ray Allen, jumping to title contenders as an outside threat in the twilight of his career.
But one thing he probably shouldn't do is criticize Evans for his deal ... it's just the cost of doing business in today's NBA, no matter how staggering the dollars might be.
