Kevin Durant has interesting inspiration for next shoe design

Everybody loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, right?

Well, now’s your chance to own a shoe inspired by the beloved brown-bag snack.

On Oct. 19, Nike will release the KD VI, which Oklahoma superstar Kevin Durant says was inspired by his childhood when his Aunt Pearl would make the sandwich everyday after school between kindergarten and second grade.

The Nike swoosh is even suppose to look grainy like jelly.

It could be worse. It could have been inspired by a meatball sub or something.

Although they totally missed an opportunity to make them scratch-n-sniff. Grape was always the best scent.
