Has Wisconsin been kissed by the Tony Romo curse?

Tony Romo appeared at SMU and Duke games this season, and both teams suffered disappointing season endings. Now he is pulling for Wisconsin; will the Badgers be affected by a Romo curse in the Final Four?

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, like many, is an avid college basketball fan being spotted in the stands during SMU and Duke games this season.

Only problem, both of those teams' good seasons ended early, with SMU not even qualifying for the tournament, settling for the NIT despite a 27-10 record, and Duke seeing a first-round exit against No. 14-seed Mercer.

So is there a Romo-jinx?

Wisconsin lost a heartbreaker in the final seconds to Kentucky in the national semifinals on Saturday after Romo reportedly declared to CBS Sports' Greg Anthony that he was rooting for the Badgers.

It is no surprise that the quarterback was pulling for the Wisconsin; Romo grew up 90 minutes away from Madison in Burlington, Wis.

Romo might want to shy away from picking college basketball teams next season.
