Griner responds to NBA: 'I would hold my own'

Mark Cuban said Tuesday night that he would draft Baylor women’s basketball star Brittney Griner with the Dallas Mavericks' second-round pick if she was good enough.
Cuban went on to say that he’s thought about making the selection "just to see if she can do it."
On Wednesday, Griner responded via her Twitter account with a tweet to Cuban's account.
@mcuban so when do I show up for try-outs!!!— Brittney Griner (@Brittney4Griner) April 3, 2013
Griner followed that tweet up with another, seemingly putting the men of the NBA on alert.
"I would hold my own! Lets do it," Griner tweeted.
Does Cuban really believe Griner, the almost certain top pick in the WNBA draft, could play in the NBA? We’d have to hook him up to a lie detector test to get that information.
A better question would be: If any NBA owner was willing to draft Griner as a publicity stunt would Cuban be in the conversation? The answer: Absolutely.
