Garrett chuckles as Jones answers questions about chances of drafting Manziel

The Cowboys head coach displayed an ear-to-ear smile as Jones attempted to shoot down the possibility of Dallas taking a quarterback in the first round.
"I'm not that gunned up over what a rookie quarterback can do for us this year," Jones said during the 40-minute pre-draft press conference at Valley Ranch. "That takes time. This isn't rebuilding time."
Despite franchise quarterback Tony Romo coming off two back surgeries in less than a year and recently turning 34, the Cowboys owner and general manager called the quarterback position the strength of the team. Jones and Garrett continue to say that Romo has plenty of quality football remaining.
If a quarterback like Manziel was to fall to the Cowboys at 16, Jones intimated that it would actually help Dallas. Not because they would take the former Heisman Trophy winner, but because of what they could get in return from a team trying to trade up.
"It is not our primary goal in the first round to be looking at a quarterback," Jones said. "We've got a good one."
