Cowboys' Ware: It's all about getting pressure on the QB

IRVING, Texas – After the Cowboys' defense failed to get a sack in last week's loss to the Broncos, defensive end DeMarcus Ware said there's a pretty simple reason why the unit has struggled.

"It's all about getting pressure in our defense," Ware said Thursday at the Cowboys' practice facility. "We've got to be able to get pressure. And also, when there's times when the corners are making the quarterback give us a little extra time, hold the ball, we've got to be able to get pressure on the quarterback."

Ware's health has been thought to be a reason the Cowboys' pass rush has struggled lately, but he said he is now at 100 percent.

"I feel really good," Ware said. "I had a stinger for the past two weeks, but now I feel good. I didn't have the stinger for two games, but it's went away and I feel great."
