Bowler's perfect game ruined after machine malfunction

Bowler Tony Walker was this close to a perfect game

Every athlete chases perfection.

Very few achieve it.

Add bowler Troy Walker to the second list.

At the 2013 Luci Bonneau Doubles Tournament in Houston over the weekend, Walker had one final frame to achieve a perfect 300 score.

As his ball rolls down the lane and the crowd gathers to possibly witness this rare feat, the lane rack came down and stopped his ball.

According to TMZ, Walker said the mechanical malfunction could've been his fault because he hit a reset button before his turn, though he thought it was for the lane next to him.

Walker was awarded another turn, but the moment had passed as he blew the redo. Check out the video, it's pretty insane.

Hopefully, for Walker's sake, he gets another opportunity to achieve perfection.
